Step 1: Learn About GPB Account Options
Visit our Personal Banking page to see our checking and savings account options, or speak to one of our local branch representatives to locate the perfect account for your lifestyle. Then, open your GPB account.
Step 2: Change Your Direct Deposit at Work
Deliver your account information to your employer's payroll department so they can change your existing direct deposit selection to your GPB account. If you don't have direct deposit, then skip this and go to step 3.
Step 3: Switch Over Automatic Bill Pay
If you have automatic bill pay services on your old bank account, change them over using our easy-to-use online banking service. Simply add your current payments, like mortgage, car, or utilities, to your new GPB account for a seamless change of service.
Step 4: Close Your Old Bank Account(s)
Review your old account to make sure you've cleared all of your old checks and transactions, and then close it in person or by phone. If you have any remaining balance, transfer it to your new GPB account. And just like that, you’re ready to start banking with us.
